Free Medical Seva Camp – Bhadarvi Poonam

One of our major community-service initiatives is the Free Medical Seva Camp for Bhadarvi Poonam pilgrims travelling towards Ambaji.

During Bhadrapad, lakhs of devotees undertake the pilgrimage on foot to seek the blessings of Mata Amba. Recognizing the need for additional community support, Meghdhanush Seva Trust, in collaboration with Vadali Mitra Mandal, has been providing free medical treatment to pilgrims since 1999.

The camp is located approximately 2 km from Vadali, within the premises of Shreeji Minerals.

Medical Camp Services

The camp operates for 24 hours a day for one full week during the pilgrimage period and is supported by:

  • 9 Committee Members

  • 20 Dedicated Volunteers

  • General medicines and basic medical treatment

  • Painkillers and medicinal ointments

  • Dressing materials

  • Basic first-aid facilities

  • Drinking water and bathing-water facilities

  • Beds for people requiring rest and support

  • Oxygen concentrator facilities

  • Wheelchair facilities

All committee members and volunteers serve voluntarily and without personal remuneration.

The expenses of the medical camp are supported by committee members, donors, and well-wishers who believe in serving pilgrims and the wider community.

Our Vision

Our vision is to build a compassionate community where people can receive timely medical assistance, essential equipment, and humanitarian support when they need it most.

We believe that even a small act of kindness can bring hope, dignity, and relief to someone facing a difficult situation.
